This week we learned the numbers between 20 and 30. Students should be able to practice counting in French all the way to 30 with you at home. A sticky number is 21 (vingt-et-un) as it is said differently (twenty and one). The remainder 22, 23, 24 are all (vingt-deux, vingt-trois, vingt-quatre...) and follow the same pattern as numbers 1 to 9 except with 'vingt' coming before, just like counting in English. We have been representing numbers of students in different classes in the school using a Triple Grille de 10 (three 10-frames). Here is an example of a class with 24 students:
