Grade 2 Learning - Number Lines
Bonjour!
We are learning to read, represent, and compare numbers to 50 in this first unit.
The students have built paper number lines in class from 1 to 50 and were asked to colour numbers based on counting by 2's, 5's and 10's to use as a tool to help with counting by 2's, 5's and 10's in French to 50.
(in the example below, 2's are purple, 5's are green, 10's are red)
You should see a short quiz on partial number lines coming home either Friday or Monday that shows counting by 2's, 5's and 10's. Feel free to practice this type of problem solving at home, along with counting in French to 50 by 2's 5's and 10's.
Saying all the numbers to 50 in French is always great practice as well!
