Grade 1 learning - Ordinal Numbers in French

Bonjour! Earlier this week, the students were introduced to ordinal numbers in French. We did some work with these in class but it would be great to practice saying these new words at home as well if you have time:

These are the corresponding ordinal numbers to first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth.  They are used to assign place (say in the finish of a race), but also we use these words when we start taking about fractions later in the year, (a pizza divided into 8 slices, one slice is an eighth).

One good question is to consider what side do we start from when we are counting first, second, third, etc? In the case below, there is more than one answer to the question, depending on what side you start from.
