Grade 2 Learning - numbers to 200

Bonjour!  Now that our focus is shifting away from patterning and towards number sense again, the students will be working on their counting skills starting next week. There are 5 skills we are focusing on to begin:

1. Counting to 200 by 1's
(starting at any number between 0 and 200)
2. Counting to 200 by 2's
(starting at any even number between 0 and 200)
3. Counting to 200 by 5's
(starting at any number between 0 and 200 that ends in 5 or 0)
4. Counting to 200 by 10's
(starting at any number between 0 and 200 that ends in 0)
5. Counting to 200 by 25's
(starting at any number between 0 and 200 that ends in 25, 50, 75, or 00)

I'm hoping this will be a nice extension from our work with patterns in the past few weeks.

Here are the new 'griles' we will be using:
To say a number in French bigger than 100, just add 'cent' (sounds like 'sans') before the number. For example,
67 = "soixante-sept"
167 = "cent soixante-sept"
