Grade 1 learning - counting to 1000

Bonjour!

So we got on a bit of a higher numbers tangent this week with Mme Ginette just so everyone knows! It all started because of the classes' Christmas Cheer count which is 257 (which is amazing by the way!). So we showed counting by 100s and then connected the 1000s to the date (2014). So we have seen up to 2000 now in French! The exception are numbers from 71 to 100, which we haven't learned yet. I have been spending time this week learning to count by 25's to 100, so we have seen 75 which is 'soixante-quinze' (translated to English is "sixty fifteen"!)
