Grade 1 and 2 learning - measurement baselines

Bonjour! This week we started some diagnostic activities around geometry and students gathered data that I'm hoping they can analyze later in the year and in years to come. Basically we measured heights, foot lengths and distance around heads using cubes as the measurement unit for Gr 1's and cubes AND centimetres for Gr 2's. The students also predicted their measurements for the end of the school year, when we will repeat the process to compare numbers. Have a great weekend!
