Grade 1 learning - 3D solids

Bonjour! This week we did some exploring and learning about 3-D figures. The main ones we are learning about are cubes, cones, spheres, simple pyramids, simple prisms, and cylinders. So far we have been comparing the attributes of different figures and making connections to other objects around us that have these figures in them. Here is a photo of our wooden figures we are using: 

Please look around the house and neighbourhood for these figures if you see them and have your learner tell you what they are. English or French, it's all good geometry!! Merci and have a great weekend!
