Grade 1 learning - equality

Bonjour! This week we missed a few math classes but we did start a new concept of making things equal when counting. We have two students adding magnets to their own area of the board while the class counts to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's, 10's, or 25's. We have been estimating the number of magnets that can be put on the board during this time and now we are looking at ways to make both groups of magnets equal by moving some around. Next week we will be starting a counting lesson with a character named Sylvain who falls off his bike and needs lots of bandaids. Have s great Easter weekend tout le monde!
